As a Client Services Representative, you will…
- Check-in and check-out clients
- Schedule client appointments
- Confirm client appointments
- Collection cash receipts
- Organize and maintain paper and electronic files,
- Process initial intake paperwork
- Provide information to callers
- Be required to wear scrubs
Requirements
To qualify for the position, you will need to have…
- A High school diploma or GED
- One (1) year of office experience in healthcare field
- Instead of experience, must have Medical Secretary/Medical Billing certificate
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work 20 hours per week
- Ability to work 3pm – 8pm Monday-Thursday, rotating Friday/Saturday 8am-4pm.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to see well enough to read reports and use computer.
- Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with clients, vendors, and coworkers.
- Must have mobility to move about the agency.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Must be able to write, type, and use technology.
Preferred candidates will …
- Be bilingual: able to speak, read, and write Spanish and English
- Have customer service experience
- Have knowledge of or experience with trauma-informed approaches preferred.

All offers of employment are contingent upon the following:
- Receipt of results of a satisfactory drug and alcohol screening test.
- Receipt of the originals of the following background checks: PA State Police Criminal History, PA State Child Abuse, and DPW FBI Criminal History. These clearances must be valid within the 60 months prior to employment. A conviction is not a bar to employment; however, a review will be conducted to make a determination of employment should a conviction be present.
- Receipt of original documentation and verification of relevant degrees, diplomas, certificates, or licensure.
- Confirmation that you are not on the OIG Federal Healthcare Program Exclusion from Participation list. Should you appear on this list, Berks Counseling Center is prohibited from employing you.
