Benefit Administrator/Plan Associate (Troy, MI)

Summary

An expanding Third Party Administrator is seeking a motivated, hardworking and highly organized professional with extensive experience in healthcare benefits and/or pension administration, and administrative procedures.

Benefit Administrator/Plan Associate Responsibilities:

Assisting the Plan Manager in the administration of various employee benefit plans
Maintaining and preparing materials for meetings, including minute writing
Reviewing and process all correspondence, and invoices
Ensuring that client-specific procedures are routinely practiced and enforced
Assisting in obtaining the data necessary for benefit studies, annual audits and timely submission of required government filings
Exercising discretion in all matters relating to administration of the benefit plans and management of internal relationships
Reviewing and analysis of monthly financial statements
Interpreting plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and other governing documents
Interacting with trustees, plan professionals, contributing employers and participants

Benefit Administrator/Plan Associate Requirements:

College education
Experience with Taft-Hartley Plans
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication, problem solving, organizational and grammar skills.

Full time. Flexible schedules available with the potential for work from home opportunities after 90 days!
