Clerical Support Clerk (Milwaukee, WI)
Summary – Clerical Support Clerk directs incoming calls to the appropriate destinations, processes daily incoming and outgoing mail, and acts as a back-up receptionist.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to
  • Answer incoming calls from providers and members, transferring them to the appropriate individuals/departments in a timely manner
  • Sign-in sheet management
  • Greet and assist members and visitors in the lobby in a professional and timely manner
  • Sort incoming faxes to the appropriate departments and distribute
  • Open mail, sort, count and distribute to appropriate department
  • Daily and weekly mail log entry
  • Website posting, updating, and changing
  • Unclaimed property review
  • Index documents scanned into database
  • Other duties as may be assigned
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job
Education and/or Experience – High School diploma or GED and at least one year experience with multiple line phone system is necessary.
Language Skills – Must speak clearly and professionally.
Computer Skills - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Phone Skills - Ability to handle a variety of callers in a pleasant, respectful, patient and efficient manner.
Occupational Skills - Ability to work in an organized manner. Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
Physical Demands – Sustained periods of sitting, standing and keyboarding. Must be able to operate basic office equipment such as a scanner and copier.
Work Environment – This position is based in a typical office environment.
Work Schedule - Full time. Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. Required in office (No at-home days).

Pay - $18.00 per hour and is dependent on location, experience, skills, education and other business factors.
