Position Title: Server Assistant

Reports To: F&B Director / F&B Manager / Supervisor

Below are the Core Responsibilities that make up the priority functions and most important responsibilities of this position. These Core Responsibilities are divided into two categories, Job Function and Professionalism/Style Expectations. Following the Core Responsibilities is a Physical Requirements category that is also expected of all positions within Belle Haven Country Club.

1. Administration

· Run completed food orders to assigned tables.

· Carry dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen.

· Replace table linen and set tables with silverware and glassware. Wipe down tables and chairs.

· Replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes in dining room.

· Supply service bar with ice, glassware, utensils, etc.

· Service ice water and butter to guests.

· Clean and polish glass shelves and doors of service bars and equipment such as coffee urns and cream and milk dispensers.

· Notify a manager immediately of any member/guest complaints.

· Use proper etiquette guidelines with member/guests.

· Practice and observe all safety rules and procedures.

· Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested.

2. Support

• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
• Ability to accurately report information.
• Ability to scrupulously follow all Club policies and procedures.
• Attend required meetings.

• Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.
• Works to resolve disagreements and is respectful of peers and co-workers.

5. These are required of every associate.

• Minimum lifting of 40 pounds.
• Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
• Hearing, writing, typing.
• Minimum pulling of 60 pounds.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Additional responsibilities specific to you are:

• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all Club departments and functions.
• Must have a knowledge applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations.
• High school education preferred. Relevant training and experience required.
• CPR training and first aid training preferred.
• Ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates, such as SafeServe, TIPS.
• Additional language ability preferred.
