Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious coffee beverages. If you have a passion for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Duties: - Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as espresso, cappuccinos, and lattes - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences - Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area - Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of food and beverage items - Assist with food preparation, such as sandwiches, pastries, and other menu items - Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints - Upsell products and promote special offers to increase sales Skills: - Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures - Experience in the food service industry preferred - Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus - Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register - Strong knowledge of different coffee brewing methods and techniques - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner - Basic math skills for retail transactions If you are passionate about coffee, have excellent customer service skills, and enjoy working in a dynamic team environment, we encourage you to apply for this position.
