About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer (CMBDO) to lead and enhance revenue creation through sales, client growth, business development, and marketing strategies. The CMBDO will provide leadership and management to various teams, ensuring their initiatives align with the firm's strategy and goals. This role involves being accountable for the annual development and execution of business development objectives for all department and practice groups, as well as collaborating with key stakeholders to counsel and achieve action plans for strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will also be responsible for regular reporting of the department's activities to leadership and will work closely with C-suite colleagues on broader initiatives such as legal operations, employer brand, lateral integration, and technology enhancements.Candidates for the CMBDO position must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of senior-level experience in marketing and business development management, preferably in a law firm environment. The role requires a proven understanding of established marketing and business development principles and their application to the firm's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a track record of effectively managing large budgets, building strong working relationships, communicating persuasively, and delegating work appropriately.
