BDA Consulting is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Murrieta, CA

Overview: We are a locally owned and operated state of the art facility delivery best in class plastic surgery. We are seeing significant growth and looking to add a dynamic Front Desk Receptionist to our team.

The front desk coordinator is a team player with an outgoing personality who provides extraordinary customer service to our patients by inspiring confidence and earning their trust. Reputation is everything at Renuance, as a team member you will stand behind your work. Together we win more.

The duties for this position include:

Opening Duties:

  • Responsible for the readiness of the reception area for each working day
  • Open the building at the specified time
  • Turn on lights through the facility
  • Turn on music in IT Room
  • Power up computers, IPads and merchant services terminal, turn on TV’s
  • Stock business cards, hand sanitizer and mint dish as necessary
  • Unlock money drawers and count cash drawer. Notify manager immediately if change is needed.
  • Check Influx for new leads assigned and follow up accordingly. This will need to be done throughout the day. All leads must receive a response within 30 minutes of opening and upon receipt throughout the day.

Patients:

  • Welcoming patients, vendors and other guest to Practice using their name when known.
  • Respect and maintain the privacy and dignity of patients and always assure patient confidentiality.
  • Answer telephone, thanking the caller for choosing Renuance.
  • Schedule patient appointments in accordance with protocols using patient name.
  • Check-in patients with a warm welcome and assist patients with enrollment on patient portal.
  • Notify provider or appropriate team member when patient, vendor or guest arrives.
  • If necessary, scan paperwork or photos into patient charts.
  • Basic math and money handling skills to collect and deposit fees according to protocols.
  • Give a warm good-bye using the patients, vendors or guest name.

Other Duties:

  • Stay up to date on practice service lines, procedures, products, and promotions
  • Proactive in learning processes, procedures, products and sales skills and be able to disseminate to patients.
  • Notify manager of office supplies and products needing replenishment.
  • Assist with monthly inventory. Unpacking and stocking inventory upon arrival.
  • Spot check inventory twice weekly and notify managers of low stock.
  • Notify managers of office supplies as needed
  • Attend mandatory huddles, educational trainings and Practice meetings.
  • Train new employees as part of their orientation.
  • Other duties as anticipated to fulfill patient’s needs or as directed by management

Closing Duties:

  • Turn off or unplug appliances and lasers if MA is out
  • Adjust phones to night mode (if not on automatic)
  • Tidy reception area, wiping down surfaces and dusting product display
  • Tidy breakroom and take out trash on days when housekeeping does not come to facility
  • Ensure this is adequate water for patients for the next day
  • Turn off music in IT Room
  • Stock paper towels and soap dispenser in breakroom and bathroom
  • Stock product shelves as necessary
  • Restart computers every Friday
  • Assist MA with laundry as needed
  • Check thermostats throughout facility and adjust according to seasons
  • Summer, set to 76 degrees
  • Winter, set to 68 degrees
  • Secure the building, according to Practice protocols

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands include, but are not limited to, standing, sitting, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, carrying, reaching, handling, kneeling, crouching and bending. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and other devices and objects.

In addition to the above-mentioned duties, team member will have a warm welcoming personality, positive attitude, and excellent telephone etiquette, ability to work well and under pressure. Team member will work accurately and efficiently, with ability to interact effectively and in a supportive manner with persons of all backgrounds. Team member is encouraged for work / life balance.

Education:

High school or equivalent; associate degree preferred

Experience:

  • Customer service: 2 years (minimum)
  • EMR Systems
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and Internet
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
