Baystate Financial is Hiring a Client Service Specialist for Investment Operations Near Boston, MA

Registered Principal for Investment Operations

Baystate Financial, a dynamic Financial Planning firm, is seeking a full-time Registered Principal to join our Investment Operations Team to coordinate investment accounts openings and manage client service requests.

Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

Investment New Accounts Opening

  • Manage the preparation and and processing of applications for new investment accounts, including Brokerage, Advisory, Third-Party Direct accounts, Variable Annuities and Mutual Funds.
  • Review suitability requirements to ensure compliance standards.
  • Research and handle trade corrections, if necessary.
  • Monitor account transfers and communicate with client throughout the process.
  • Supervise and administer the Signature Guarantee process.

Investment Client Service

  • Handle money movement requests (distributions, deposits, etc.).
  • Process various investment client service requests (beneficiary changes, address updates)
  • Manage annual account-related projects, e.g. RMDs, Annual Gifting, tax documents.
  • Prepare review materials for Client Review and Sales meetings.
  • Maintain various digital databases including client and employee contact info.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and Series 7 license required.

Additional Information:

  • Established insurance and investment Firm in Massachusetts.
  • Branch office environment, currently working in the Boston, MA or Wellesley, MA location.
  • 40-hour work week during normal business hours.
  • Must pass a FINRA background credentials.

Benefits/Compensation:

  • Base Salary and Bonus Potential - $75,000 (based on experience)
  • 401(k) Plan with employer contribution.
  • Health, dental, vision insurance offered, as well as various voluntary Group options.
