Job Summary:

Basic Engineering Concepts & Technologies, Inc. (BecTech) is a Small Business Program Management and Engineering Services provider to Department of Defense (DoD) Agencies. BecTech is seeking professional candidates to fill the position of full-time Engineer in Crystal City, VA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Apply the theories and principles of science and mathematics to research and develop economical solutions to technical problems.
• Provide technical assistance in reviewing maintenance concepts, plans, and Maintenance Index Pages/Maintenance Requirements Cards.
• Prepare and participate in reviews for Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability data, metrics, and briefings. Develop and update CASREP data and prepare briefing materials for senior and Fleet representatives.
• Assist with the development of depot maintenance requirements, including planning and implementation of various recertification and refurbishment efforts.

Required Education/Experience:

• Requires minimum of 4 years of experience; 6 years of experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field is required.
• Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work within a team.
• Good interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Possess good communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Able to obtain and retain a security clearance.

ADA SPECIFICATIONS:

• Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, and standing; frequent period of prolonged sitting may be required.
• Ability to speak, read, hear, and write, with or without assistance.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Travel: Less than 5% expected
