Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Manager to join our team at Basement Systems of Indiana. As the Service Manager your role involves overseeing and coordinating all service-related activities within the company.
Responsibilities:
· Provide strong leadership to the service team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
· Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring that each team member understands their responsibilities and goals.
· Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, address challenges, and provide guidance and support as needed.
· Promote a culture of safety within the service team, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
· Provide technical guidance and support to service technicians, assisting them with troubleshooting complex issues and recommending appropriate solutions.
· Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and product developments relevant to basement waterproofing, foundation repair, and related services.
· Manage inventory levels of service-related materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels to support service operations.
· Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that all service work meets company standards and customer expectations.
· Conduct regular inspections of completed service projects, identifying areas for improvement, and addressing any deficiencies promptly.
· Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction levels, taking proactive measures to address any concerns or complaints.
· Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience throughout the service process.
· Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in a service-oriented industry.
· Strong technical aptitude with knowledge of basement waterproofing, foundation repair, or related trades.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, team members, and managers.
· Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in computer applications and software relevant to service management and scheduling (e.g., CRM systems, scheduling software).
