THE TEAM

The Supply Chain Analytics team is responsible for the strategy and implementation of all data & analytics initiatives across Bark’s Supply Chain. That ranges from developing tools for our functional teams, to executing on key projects to support automation in each area, and establishing and managing the portfolio of our KPIs.

WHO WE’RE SNIFFING FOR

The Supply Chain Analyst role supports the Inbound Logistics space, managing the data and analytics behind their KPI reporting including the development of tools that will allow for automation. Because you’re both technically savvy and a “people person,” you’re great at leveraging all available resources to achieve your goals. You attack problems with exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking, and your business intuition and great attention to detail help deliver results.. When you’re confident in what you know, you’re passionate and effective at sharing that knowledge with your team.

KEY DUTIES

• Maintain and enhance freight spend reporting and management of invoice payments. These analytics help to proactively manage spend for our multi-million dollar inbound space.
• Partner with the Inbound Team to develop carrier-specific KPIs to give the operations team the data required to proactively manage and hold-accountable the partners in our supply chain.
• Carrier capacity-related reporting and analytics to better manage and negotiate contracts with steamship lines and middle-mile partners.
• Vendor management support to ensure the data our carriers are sending is accurate and up to date
• Establish reporting to provide the Inbound Team increased visibility into the active shipments in our network
• Assists both operations and financial teams in developing transportation forecasts for budget creation
• Successful development in these areas requires knowledge of how supply chain data sources interact with each other, and an understanding of supply chain operations. 

EXPERIENCE

• 1-3 years of experience in a BI or Analytics role
• Ability to pull data from multiple sources and convert it into organized and comprehensive datasets
• Familiarity with Supply Chain Operations: Fulfillment and Outbound Transportation
• Designed, developed, and maintained ongoing metrics and analysis using SQL and a BI data visualization tool such as Power BI or Tableau
• Hands-on experience creating and presenting reports to communicate insights and drive decision making
• Ability to pull data from multiple sources and convert it into organized and comprehensive datasets

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Advance knowledge in SQL
• Experience with BI data visualization and delivery tools such as Power BI, and Tableau
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel as well as Google Sheets
• Excellent reading comprehension, even on highly technical topics
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, math, science, management, or a related field

PAY TRANSPARENCY 

• The base salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000

**This compensation range is based on BARKs good faith estimate as of the date of this posting and may be modified in the future. Actual pay for this position will depend on a variety of variables including location, travel, internal equity, experience, education, skills and expertise.
