Overview
A Day In The Life:
You will provide primary analytical and reporting support to all Supply Chain areas including DC Operations, Transportation, and Scheduling.
You should be able to work independently to design, test, and prototype reports, models and analyses, as well as work with users through sign-off and implementation.
You will accommodate the requests of Supply Chain management, as well as generate ideas for reports that will allow for users to understand, predict, and enhance Supply Chain processes.
In order to ensure analytical and reporting accuracy, you are expected to know or learn the Supply Chain processes that support the data.
Work with key IT and other resources to create and support master data sets that aggregate data from several sources. Determine areas in which master databases can be created to reduce redundant queries. Ensure data is accurate and reflects current business processes.
Provide support for ad-hoc projects, by building queries and creating data sets. Ensure ad-hoc data is consistent with business processes.
Reassess current work for opportunities for improvement in efficiency and accuracy.
Pinpoint areas in which databases and reports can be automated.
You Will Come With:
4 – 6 years in Supply Chain or related field.
Preferably a Bachelor’s in Information Systems, Engineering, Business or similar field of study or relevant work experience.
Strong Microsoft Office (Excel/Access) experience.
Reporting automation using Windows/PowerBI Scheduler and oETLr ETL tools.
Significant training and experience with various areas of data mining / reporting and well as general understanding of Supply Chain business processes.
Proficiency in Structured Query LanguSQL (SQL), Ruby on Rails or Python, Visual Basic for ApplicatiVBA (VBA), and HTML coding. Preference for expereince with Power BI and MicroStrategy.
Minimum 2-3 years:
Building PowerBI dashboards and automating end-to-end PowerBI reporting
Business analysis identifying and solving problems through data analysis
Managing projects/requests from requirement gathering to final delivery to the end-users
