Bargain Hunt is Hiring a Human Resources - HR Coordinator Near Nashville, TN

As Human Resources Coordinator, you will serve as the first point of contact for routine employee relations issues and advise management through the progressive disciplinary process. This is a full time position located onsite at our corporate office in Antioch, TN. Other duties include: Answer employee questions about human resources policies and procedures and refer to specialist as needed.Provide support for investigations, follow-ups, and resolutions of more complex employee relation issues to HR Manager.Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation, HR events, benefits enrollment, and site meetings.Ensure proper documentation is received for I-9 and that I-9, E-verify, and On-boarding is completed with specified time constraints. Monitor timekeeping issues and errors, following up with the appropriate supervisor or manager, as needed to ensure accurate pay practices. Manage the data integrity of the HR data in Human Resources Information System for the site employees through direct input of information (transfers, supervisor and title changes, & rate changes)Conduct regular audits of HRIS system, identifying opportunities for improvement and providing feedback. Work with corporate payroll to resolve issues. Complete unemployment claims and employment verifications in a timely manner.File and maintain employee records to ensure employee information is maintained securely.Process separation paperwork and send out notices where needed. Conduct exit interviews, as neededAdminister and maintain HR activities and programs, such as engagement, training, benefits, staffing, and safety.Contribute to the evaluation and continuous improvement of a variety of HR processes, always driving to improve efficiencies, speed, and quality while still maintaining the culture and image priorities of the organization. Enable effective change management by ensuring compliance to local posting requirements; building awareness and compliance on policies and procedures; and building awareness, understanding and alignment on new/emerging plans/changes. Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager. Job Specifications and Experience A bachelor's degree in human resource management, or one to two years of experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience.Fluent in Spanish, written and orally (preferred).Ability to work with confidential information is crucial.A readiness to learn is required.Works and prioritizes independently with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to maintain effective working relationships.HRIS and data processing experience.Excellent time management skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point).Able to work in fast paced team environment with exceptional problem solving, oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to write creative stories or articles for company newsletter. Ensure newsletter is in proper form and template, and proofread for clarity, grammar, and spelling. (preferred)Able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.Exceptional customer service and attendance.Strong analytical competencies.Knowledge of State and Federal employment laws.
