Job Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. Duties: - Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals - Assist with meal planning and preparation - Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment - Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior - Implement behavior management techniques as needed - Provide direct support to individuals with disabilities or special needs - Lift and transfer clients using proper body mechanics and assistive devices - Provide dementia care for clients with memory impairments Requirements: - Knowledge of resident rights and ability to uphold them in all interactions - Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene practices - First aid certification preferred, but not required - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as necessary - Experience in direct support or caregiving roles is a plus - Familiarity with behavior management techniques is beneficial - Understanding of ADLs and ability to assist clients with these tasks - Knowledge of dementia care principles and techniques is desirable - Background in social work or related field is advantageous At our company, we value the well-being of both our clients and our caregivers.
