Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in preparing and filing immigration petitions and applications.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research on immigration laws and procedures
- Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation
- Assist in drafting legal documents related to immigration matters
- Interview clients to gather necessary information for cases
- Manage case files and maintain accurate records
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate with clients, attorneys, and government agencies
- Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as an Immigration Paralegal or similar role, handling O-1 visa, EB1, EB2, EB3 petitions, L1 visas, Family-based Green Card petitions.
- Knowledge of immigration laws, procedures, and forms
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in legal administrative tasks such as legal drafting and legal research
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
- Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate records
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
