West St. Dog is downtown Raleigh's first indoor dog park and full service bar.

We are looking to add a part-time or fill-in bartender to our team who is outgoing, reliable, punctual, and has excellent customer service. We do not serve food so we expect our bartenders to focus all their attention on providing patrons with a positive experience, keeping the bar clean and tidy, and being able to provide recommendations on drinks.

Applicants with previous bartending experience are strongly preferred.

Please ONLY apply if you have weekend availability, and are ok with working 1-2 shifts per week.

Position requirements:
- Must have experience in preparing craft cocktails
- Must have knowledge in local craft beer
- Confidence and knowledge to handle a busy bar shift solo

Since West St. Dog is also a dog park and boarding / daycare facility, bartenders MUST LOVE DOGS! We want our bartenders to be knowledgeable in ALL aspects of the business so that they can accurately answer customer inquiries.

Bartenders may also be responsible for helping dog park staff with checking in new customers, so some cross training on our online system and training on vaccine requirements for dogs will be mandatory.

Pay is $8/hour plus tips!
