Automotive Assistant Service Manager Duties:
- Assist Service Manager in day-to-day management duties.
- Manage store operation in absence of the Service Manager.
- Resolve customer issues.
- Understand and comply with OSHA and EPA standards.
- Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the company handbook.
- Ensure employees perform required procedures and follow all policies as outlined in the employee handbook.
- Ensure equipment and facilities are well maintained.
- Handle personnel issues in absence of Service Manager in a professional manner.
- Assist the Service Manager in training, leading and developing employees in accordance with company guidelines.
- Other duties as requested or assigned.
Qualifications:
- Retail, Sales or other forms of Management experience required.
- Customer service skills to manage the customer’s experience and difficult customer situations.
- Ethics and integrity to treat others with respect.
- Basic computer skills.
- Supervisory skills.
