- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in the subject area of Math
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in a daycare setting
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a comprehensive curriculum
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles
- Incorporate child welfare principles into daily interactions and activities
- Offer tutoring or additional support to students who may be struggling
- Promote physical education and encourage active participation in physical activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification or license
- Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting
- Strong knowledge of the subject area being taught (Math)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability to meet the needs of diverse students
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents/guardians
