Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Responsibilities
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans to promote learning and development
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to explore and learn
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress
- Monitor and assess each child's individual needs and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior in the classroom
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
Experience
- Previous experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies and techniques
- Strong understanding of child welfare and development principles
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Experience in behavior management and promoting positive social skills
- Proficient in lesson planning, organization, and classroom management
- Experience tutoring or working with students one-on-one is a plus
- Familiarity with math concepts at the preschool level is preferred
