WORK HOURS

7:30 to 4:30, or 8:00-5:00, Monday through Friday

JOB SUMMARY

Work with superintendents, subcontractors and the rest of the accounting staff to ensure proper billing and payment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Processing weekly invoices (collecting, coding, verifying pricing, entering batches, checking job cost estimates, balancing) (45%)
• Processing monthly accounts (electric, siding, excavating, HVAC, concrete, fireplaces, garage doors, lumber, etc.) (30%)
• Processing utility bills (15%)
• Maintaining Daily Cash Balance (Record daily check runs, process and record daily deposits, keep running balance.) (5%)
• Running checks and matching checks to invoices (5%)

EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Business/Accounting degree
• Fast and efficient in typing .
• Must be computer literate and able to use Microsoft applications and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Must be organized, able to multi-task, effectively prioritize work responsibilities and have good time management skills.
• Must have exceptional communication and people skills, and be a team player.
• Must have good problem solving skills and pay attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time while using a keyboard and manual writing.
• Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 25lbs.
• Must be able to walk, stand, climb stairs, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach and climb a ladder occasionally.
