The Account Development Representative is responsible for providing support and actively contributing to the promotion and sale of our comprehensive range of metal coatings and finishing services to prospective and existing customers. This position plays a crucial role in helping the sales team reach their objectives including expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who wholeheartedly embraces sales, customer care, and wants to grow in their career. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm with some overtime required and some flexibility in the start time. This is a full-time, hourly position.

How You Will Rock The Role!
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Research, prospect, and qualify leads and sometimes initiate contact with potential customers.
· Serve as the first point of contact for chat & email inquiries.
· Assist with the quoting process including any necessary follow up procedures.
· Coordinate activities in various departments to ensure advertising and sales programs
reach targeted customers in a timely and effective manner.
· Compile materials and coordinates activities related to special events such as
holidays, trade shows, or anticipated customer visits.
· Research pricing for printing and production of advertising and sales materials, may
submit and coordinate ordering.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and vendors.
· Provide additional technical support to customers and sales team by addressing
inquiries, pricing issues, etc. to ensure customer satisfaction, document all
customer contact.
· Learn & maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational
workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks;
and participating in professional societies.
· Update job knowledge and stay informed about the latest advancements in metal
coatings/finishing technologies and industry trends.
· Additional duties as assigned.
Talents and Credentials:
· Education: High School Graduate or GED; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field preferred.
· Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in technical sales; or any equivalent
combination of education and experience, preferably in metal coatings or related industry in a manufacturing environment.
· Must be able to speak, read and write in English; able to give and receive clarification and respond to questions.
· Knowledge of B2B sales required; Knowledge of metal coatings and finishes or
manufacturing a plus.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to work effectively with others.
· Excellent organization, communication, and presentation skills.
· Strong mathematical skills with the ability to prepare quotes and compute profitability.
· Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.
· Present a professional company image at all times.
· Ability to travel locally and out of state to meet with potential/current customers as
well as trade shows and events.
· Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Suite; Epicor and CRM experience a plus.
