Job Role and Responsibility: Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., CIO Group is hiring a Lead Software Engineer to function at the highest technical level with respect to Java development and design utilizing Java tool sets; Act as a technical resource in the development, testing, and implementation of several Java applications; Perform a variety of duties on a day to day basis including development, implementing security peer reviews, escalated production support and troubleshooting, application maintenance, monitoring, and/or balancing, security remediation activities, and other software engineering actions; Assure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversee updating and testing of the business continuation plan; Analyze complex business requirements leading to effective design, implementation, and deployment; Actively develop software through technical analysis, design, construction, and deployment; Actively participate in the development of design documentation; departmental technical guidelines, checklists, software engineering best practices and how-to guides for developers; Partner with Systems Integration Testing and the migration of web applications to production; Design, analyze, and remediate performance tests; Responsible for functional test automation using Wells Fargo Automation Framework; Verify program logic by preparing test data, testing, and debugging of program. Telecommuting is permitted up to 3 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address. Travel required: None.
