AXPM Dental Management LLC is Hiring an Insurance Specialist Near Little Rock, AR

Description

Rock Dental Brands is an innovative, multi-disciplinary group of practices providing office support to over 80 dental and orthodontic practices. We specialize in Pediatric Dentistry, Orthodontics, General Dentistry, and Oral Surgery. At the Support Center assisting the practices is the foundation of Rock Dental Brands. Without the diligent support from our dedicated home office staff, our practices could not operate as efficiently and effectively as they do. Collaborating as a team, supporting our practices, and celebrating at potlucks are all par for the course in a typical day at the Rock Dental Brands Support Center.

Summary

The position of the Dental Claims Follow Up is to ensure insurance dental claims are paid in an accurate and timely manner. Daily tasks and responsibilities are outlined below and subject to change upon short notice.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with payers to resolve claim issues
  • Actively reviewing claims rejection reports and correcting any issues
  • Actively work any insurance denials or no pays
  • Researching outstanding claims >30 days in a timely manner
  • Reviewing claims submission for accuracy
  • Professionally and efficiently notifying the appropriate office staff of any issues hindering claims payment
  • Assisting with Carrier updates
  • Assisting and fee schedule updates
  • Identify unclean claim trends and quickly determine the resolution
  • Swiftly documenting self reporting on incorrect insurance payments
  • Submitting refunds requests for any payments made in error
  • Submitting corrective claims for any incorrect procedures rendered
  • Reviewing insurance benefits for accuracy
  • Notifying the office of any account credits
  • Assist office staff with any billing and claims issues they may have
  • Assist with special projects and other assignments delegated by management

Requirements

  • Understanding of CDT Codes and 837 terminologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of insurance plans, member eligibility and dental billing
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Strong problem solving and research skills
  • Must be analytical and detailed oriented
