Job Summary and Opportunity

Entry-level Payroll Clerk position for an energetic individual with thoroughness and attention to detail as well as strong communication, accurate data entry, multi-tasking, and organizational skills. We are an accounting software division of Axos with a thriving payroll service in Tarzana servicing over 1,000 companies. Payroll processing experience is preferred but not required -we will train the right person. Background and/or interest in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance is a plus. This position is 100% remote, but must be based in the Los Angeles area.

Responsibilities

• New employee set ups across multiple companies
• Collect and record pay-related information for employees across multiple companies
• Timely processing of weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, etc. paychecks
• Accurate and rapid data entry
• Manage payroll records for assigned companies

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 0-1 year's payroll processing
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
