Axis Energy Administration LLC is Hiring a Human Resources Manager Near Odessa, TX

***TO APPLY, VISIT OUR COMPANY WEBSITE:Job Postings | Axis Energy Services (axisofs.com)The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing the administration, development, and coordination of human resource policies and functions for the district and will work alongside district leadership to ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, develop procedures to ensure acceptable employment practices, communicate employee benefits, recruit and retain staff, and work to resolve employee relations issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Provide advice regarding all local, state, and federal filings are accurately and timely produced to stay in compliance with requirements.
  • Offer recommendations to leadership on potential improvements pertaining to employment practices.
  • Communicate and provide guidance on company benefit packages including health, dental, vision insurance, 401K, and other employee insurance options. 
  • Ensure HRIS (UKG) workflows such as status changes, hires, terminations, and salary adjustments occur timely and efficiently to meet employee and business needs.
  • Manage hiring efforts in the district by working with the hiring managers and ensuring new hires are identified and hired within established timelines. 
  • Lead and manage the employee onboarding and orientation process for all new hires to a high degree of excellence ensuring all required equipment, documentation, and other processes are followed per company guidelines.
  • Work with department heads and managers on promotions including establishing clear process for how and when promotions occur and completing and retaining all required forms for record.
  • Identify and plan trainings for company personnel across all functional areas and work with Learning and Development Manager and/or Safety teams to organize and prioritize needs.
  • Ensure performance improvement plans and progressive discipline process are used, and legal compliance is maintained.
  • Assist with terminations of company employees as required; ensure all processes are followed.
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, evaluation, and management of direct reports; HR Generalist or Coordinators in district.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 6-8 years of human resources experience; HR Certification preferred (PHR/SHRMCP)
  • Advanced knowledge of HR Law; Wage and Hour, EEOC, FMLA, DOL, etc.
  • Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, and data evaluation
  • Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating teams.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
