Axiom Community of Recovery is an organization that serves all individuals and families who are seeking support for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. We focus on providing free support to individuals experiencing additional high-risk factors. These factors include individuals involved in the criminal justice system, racially/ethnically diverse, uninsured, living below the federal poverty level, homeless, etc.

Job Description

• Coordinate and oversee the implementation of various programs and projects
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Provides recovery and employment coaching
• Responsible for leading individual and group peer support meetings
• Coordinates and hosts sober social activities
• Provides regular updates and reports on program participant progress to management.
• Participates in diversity, cultural competency, and safety training.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• Excellent time management skills
• Strong meeting facilitation skills to drive group discussions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and computer navigation.
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Education and Experience

• Peer Support Specialist Certification
• Personal/Professional experience with substance abuse treatment required
• 1 year of managerial experience highly preferred

• 8 hour shift
