Corporate Services Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent individual to join our team as our Corporate Services Assistant. This role primarily focuses on accounting tasks including reviewing invoices, processing vouchers, and utilizing PeopleSoft software for financial transactions. The ideal candidate should possess strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing invoices and ensuring accuracy of billing information.
• Processing vouchers and expense reports in a timely manner.
• Verifying and reconciling financial data with supporting documents.
• Recording financial transactions accurately in accounting software, particularly PeopleSoft.
• Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable duties as required.
• Collaborating with other departments to resolve discrepancies or issues related to financial transactions.
• Maintaining organized records of invoices, vouchers, and other financial documents.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Providing support to the accounting team as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in basic accounting or related field preferred.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using accounting software, particularly PeopleSoft, or willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial information.
