About the Role

Bevel is seeking an experienced and visionary Director to assume a senior leadership position within the firm. As the Director, you will lead a team of strategists, working directly with C-Suite executives at venture capital funds and high-growth start-ups. This role requires an individual who excels in developing communications strategy, planning, reporting, and client engagement. Additionally, the Director will actively contribute to new business efforts, with a particular focus on expanding the firm internationally.

Responsibilities

• Client Base Management:
• Build and expand the client base, maintaining strong and enduring relationships with existing clients.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and execute effective communication strategies.
• Business Development:
• Negotiate new business opportunities and contracts, contributing to the growth and profitability of the firm.
• Work closely with the CEO to strategize and plan for international expansion, including the establishment of a fund.
• Content Development:
• Write, edit, and proofread materials to ensure quality and consistency in all communication deliverables.
• Drive thought leadership campaigns and contribute to the creation of impactful pitches, releases, and articles.
• Project Prioritization and Management:
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.
• Mentorship and Team Leadership:
• Provide mentorship to senior and junior staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.

Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of previous PR/marketing experience or relevant experience at a fintech/tech/VC firm.
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and passion for excellence in work.
• Excellent writing skills; experience in crafting pitches, releases, and contributed articles is preferred but not required.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle and manage stressful situations.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Creative, out-of-the-box thinker.
