What we are looking for…

A highly-organized and resourceful People Partner to help execute company-wide people and talent initiatives, run employee relations, and drive continuous improvement, performance and engagement throughout the entire employee life cycle. This generalist will be critical to ensuring the team proactively attracts and develops high performing talent, establishing AvantStay as a compliant, inclusive and unapologetically excellent employer of choice. 

What you’ll do…

  • Source and recruit for high performing candidates globally, independently running processes from end-to-end and partnering with business leads to identify role requirements and rigorous selection processes.
  • Manage compliant and best practice onboarding and offboarding processing of all W2 employees and 1099 independent contractors
  • Support administration of programs and strategies that drive performance and engagement,, including performance management, compensation, talent development & feedback, employee engagement & retention, employee administration, and internal communications
  • Partner with Payroll department to support day-to-day payroll functions, including payroll compliance, records management, time off approval, reimbursements, and updates to employee profiles
  • Support employee relations across the business - maintaining positive relationships and providing support and advice to employees and managers on difficult people issues, advising on labor law concerns and resolving issues to ensure a productive and engaged workforce.
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances, manage employee discipline and performance improvement processes
  • Support benefit administration company-wide - running open enrollment processes, facilitating internal communications and ensuring compliance with relevant filings, reports and other regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure comprehensive and compliant employee data collection and reporting through the use of ADP Workforce Now, the Company’s payroll and HRIS platform, and other internal systems. Create performance dashboards and other regular reports to inform strategic business decisions
  • Support continuous improvement and optimization of People systems, policies & procedures
  • Maintain knowledge of and adhere to employment legislation to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Communicate directly with employees on People policies & procedures, escalating as needed
  • Generate reports, maintain employee records, and manage general data entry with the highest level of integrity and discretion
