Automation Personnel Services is Hiring a Quality Inspector Near Houston, TX
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Quality Control Inspector for a company based in North Houston
Pay Rate
$25 -$35 per hour (Depends on experience)
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday 8 am – 5 pm or 7 am – 4:30 pm
Quality Control Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day inspections and non-conformance reports
- In charge of the inspection department handling everything including customer documentation requirement submissions
- Record, maintain and report on results of inspection
- Perform daily in-process spot checks at every level of the production process
- Responsible for quality control of shipment going out with zero to minimal damage
- Perform calibrations and manage the in-house/outsourced calibration system
- Assists each department on quality related issues
- Familiar with a Zeiss CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
- At least 5 years’ experience in a machine shop’s quality department.
- Experience with micrometers, calipers, and height gages
- Experience creating procedures and/or implementing ISO requirements
- High school Diploma, GED certificate
- Must have strong leadership and organizational skills
