Schedule: 4:00AM-12:00PM w/ OT as scheduled

Pay: $14.30

Job Purpose: Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type and value of finished goods inventory warehoused in the Distribution Center, by performing the following duties.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Tally entire product inventory in designated stocking locations by recording counts on paper and keying into a computer terminal.
• Complete required training and acquire skill set to operate a stand-up forklift to count bulk stock locations.
• Supports other DC areas to facilitate customer order processing; including but not limited to replenishment, receiving, shipping, full case picking and slotting.
• Operates a Lucas headset to process and fill customer orders.
• Travels safely and efficiently to designated location and selects product as instructed on the headset.
• Removes carton from line and places in appropriate stock location.
• Consolidates cartons with identical garments as needed, to ensure product fits safely in designated stock location.
• Places empty cartons in the box chute.

Skills/Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED or one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Teamwork: Contributes to building a positive team spirit.

Computer skills: Working knowledge and administration of warehouse inventory programs (working knowledge of Movex a plus), proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Forklift operator license; issued by Augusta Sportswear following the completion of scheduled training and passing both written and driving tests.

Physical Demands: Good color vision preferred. Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to touch, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and the risk of radiation. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
