Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PM, with OT as needed

Pay: $18-$21 per hour, based upon experience

Job Purpose: This position reports directly to the Site Operations Leader. The role is responsible for the on-time fulfillment and same day shipping of customer orders, processing and stocking of inbound materials, managing materials in the ERP system, and overseeing daily cycle counts and physical inventories. Is responsible for directing workers in their daily activities and implementing new policies to improve safety, productivity, and quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Site Operations Director in the day-to-day operations of Distribution Center, including: order fulfillment, receiving, put away, replenishments, transfers and inventor control.
  • Lead and develop warehouse team to ensure on-time shipping of customer orders.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy in daily operations.
  • Coordination and scheduling of inbound and outbound freight.
  • Ensure that activities related to receiving, shipping, transferring and returning of materials are properly documented in both electronic and hard copy formats.
  • Maintain an efficient and effective staff by interviewing and selecting qualified employees, overseeing departmental training, conducting performance reviews, recommending salary increases, promotions.
  • Ensure that all DC equipment is maintained and serviced.
  • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
  • Develop, implement, and manage proper inventory control procedures and processes to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Audits and monitors daily cycle counts. Research of recorded inventory adjustments and inventory shrink issues for determination of cause.
  • Health and Safety compliance according to company policy.

Minimum/Desired Qualifications:

  • 5 years’ experience in a distribution center leadership role preferred.
  • Experience managing a high-volume distribution center > 65,000 square feet.
  • Experience leading a warehouse team including hiring, training and motivating.
  • Strong time management skills, ability to effectively handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience in performance metrics tracking and analysis.
  • Warehouse Management Systems experience (Oracle, SAP, Infor M3) a plus.
  • Knowledge of warehouse systems and procedures.
  • Experience with MS office suite required.
  • Strong math and computer skills; strong Excel skills are required.
