The Child Development Center is a ministry of Auburn First Baptist by which we provide safe, loving quality care for children in a Christian environment. We strive to provide the best in early childhood education so that each child may develop to his or her higher potential in physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual growth.
Looking for a full-time teacher for our center. Hours would be 8:00AM-5:00PM. Must be willing to coordinate with the lead and afternoon teachers in order to carry out lesson plans, positively interact with children with a variety of tasks and activities, interact positively with the parents and staff members, adhere to the Performance Standards set by the State of Alabama as well as those set by the National Accreditation Commission.
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
BS/BA or higher in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or Human Development & Family Studies or
AA in Child Development or
CD certificate or
CDA or be willing to work towards and obtain a CDA
Experience in a child care classroom
Job Description:
Position Purpose: To assist the lead teacher with the protection and care of assigned children and to implement daily curriculum.
