Job Title: Senior Software Developer
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid - 3 days on-site per week)

Our work depends on a Senior Software Developer joining our team to analyze design, develop, implement, and support code, working under limited supervision.
HOW A SENIOR DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
-Researches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.
-Analyzes user/business software system requirements and determines needs.
-Determine the functionality of an application and performs upgrades over time.
-Maintains documentation to support software development policies, standards, and procedures.
-Assist team with preparation of cost estimates.
-Performs highly specialized technical tasks associated with cutting-edge technologies.
-Applies expert functional knowledge and experience to significant business projects or processes.
-Analyzes user/business software system requirements and determines needs.
-Determine the functionality of an application and performs upgrades over time.
-Maintains current knowledge of relevant developments in area of expertise.
-Participates in special projects as required.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education:
-Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline (preferred but not required)
Required Experience:
-10 years of experience with application development
Required Skills & Abilities:
-Ability to maintain and support existing applications to meet the needs of the General Counsel
-Knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server database environments
-Knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments
-Knowledge of Postal networking environment
-Knowledge of application environments used by General Counsel
-Adobe ColdFusion Enterprise version 9 through current releases
-Java
-Apache/Tomcat 9.0.xx
-Microsoft Office 365 – SharePoint, Teams
-SAP Business Objects Enterprise
-Knowledge of operating environments
-Microsoft Windows 10; desktop
-Web/Application servers

-Knowledge of desktop user applications
-Microsoft Office 2013 to current versions
-Adobe Acrobat Professional
-SAP Crystal Reports 2011 and newer
-Dashboard applications
-Development, design and implementation applications
-Excellent partnering and collaboration skill.
-Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Security Clearance Level:
-Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
-The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years. The selected candidate cannot have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days and no more than 180 cumulative days.
Preferred Skills:
-Desired experience with ColdFusion, Java and Oracle databases.
