Atmosphere is Hiring a Human Resources Operations Specialist Near Austin, TX

Atmosphere is the world’s first and largest free ad-supported streaming TV service for businesses offering original, owned, and operated TV channels and Partner Channels from prominent brands. ABOUT THIS ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Specialist to join Atmosphere’s HR team. The ideal candidate will not only have a solid background in HR processes, policies, and systems but will also have a strong interest in utilizing AI and automation to support the smooth functioning of our HR operations. Experience with benefits administration will wrap your experience up nicely with a bow and make you ideal for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and administer employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation, paperwork, and exit interviews.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee data in HR systems, including new hire information, terminations, promotions, transfers, and other employment changes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide support to employees on HR-related matters, including benefits, leave administration, and employee relations.
  • Assist in the coordination and delivery of HR training programs.
  • Generate HR reports and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Stay updated on HR best practices and legal requirements to ensure compliance and continuously improve Atmosphere’s HR operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR operations or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and employment laws.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and experience with HR software, especially ADP Workforce Now and Workday.
  • Benefits administration experience is strongly preferred.
  • Curiosity, grit, initiative, and a bias towards results are musts. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
