We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Social Worker to join our client’s team on weekends. This role is perfect for new graduates who are eager to gain experience and make a difference in the community. The Weekend Social Worker will provide support, advocacy, and resources to clients, helping them navigate challenges and access necessary services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to understand clients' needs, strengths, and challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized service plans to address clients' needs and goals.
• Provide counseling and emotional support to clients experiencing crisis or distress.
• Connect clients with community resources and services, such as housing, healthcare, and financial assistance.
• Advocate for clients' rights and needs within the community and with other service providers.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other team members and service providers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Participate in regular supervision and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in NY, or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Please note- The annual base salary range is $30/hr to $40/hr. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
