Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing, coding, entering, and paying accounts payable.
• Processing various payments to carriers and vendors.
• Reconciling and paying vendor statements.
• Assist account managers with billing questions and issues.
• Process last minute invoices
• Accounting carrier communications.
• Attach payments not made in Epic to vendor accounts in Epic. (CC Receipts)
• Perform audits such as vendor payables.
• Be familiar with all aspects of the accounting department and available to perform those tasks when needed.
• Adhere to and comply with established agency procedures and performance and service standards.
• Participate in seminars and classes for skill and knowledge development.
• Various projects and duties as assigned.

Required Skills and abilities:

• Two years accounting experience.
• Good computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Great attitude and willingness to learn.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lead and attend meetings.
