SUMMARY:

The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for processing a high volume of invoices for payment, reviewing invoices for accuracy, and resolving invoice issues with vendors. The successful candidate will maintain a high level of customer service, quality, professionalism and positive attitude within the workplace.

MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

· Review payable invoices for accuracy and consistency

· Vendor statement reconciliation and issue resolution through internal and external communication channels

· 3-way match

· Other duties as assigned

DIMENSIONS:

Process approximately 1,500 vouchers and per month

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED TO SUCCESSFULLY PERFORM MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Proficient data entry skills

· Ability to identify problems and develop solutions

· Ability to use 10-key by touch

· Willing to learn and be open to suggestions/ideas to improve productivity and efficiency

· Team-oriented and flexible in assuming new responsibilities as they arise

· Good communication skills (oral and written)

· Ability to focus and excellent attention to detail

· Ability to organize and prioritize work

MINIMUM/PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High school and or Associates Degree

Experience:

· 5 years of accounts payable experience with accounting/ERP system

· Prior experience processing high volume of data

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
