Kula Coffee Co is a partnership between Kula Project and Atlanta Tech Village. Kula Project works in Rwanda with coffee farmers and other entrepreneurs to eradicate poverty through business. Atlanta Tech Village supports entrepreneurs in Atlanta by creating community and by connecting them to the resources they need as tech start ups. Both hold a shared belief that business can change the world.

Job Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming environment and hospitable experience for guests.
- Answer questions and inform guests about our products
- Ability to follow and maintain company recipes, quality guides, and policies
- Prepare customer orders, including food
- Effectively communicate our story and company mission
- Manage card transactions and other POS functions
- Stay up to date with all coffee, food, and alcohol offerings
- Always aim to encourage, edify, and support your team members
- Follow all job functions and duties as they are assigned and or adjusted
Qualifications and Expectations
- A love and passion for people & community
- Previous barista experience preferred but not required
- The ability to go beyond a transaction to develop relationships with guests
- A desire to serve others
- Must be able to multitask alongside a team in a fast paced environment
- A sense of passion for and ownership over your work
- Self starter, attention to detail, able to keep workspace clean and organized
- Desire to continually improve and consistently show your best work
- Open to and capable of up front communication
- Able to stand and move for 8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
