Role: Field Services Manager
Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
Job Overview
Linxon is seeking a skilled Field Services Manager to lead our field operations team in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Field Services Manager will be responsible for overseeing the execution of field service activities, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in the delivery of services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Defines guidelines for Site teams and ensures implementation.
Develops procedures, standards and best practices within the area of responsibility (Field services).
Provides technical and strategic guidance and ensures resolutions of technical issues for field service activities, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of power grid equipment and systems.
Lead a team of Site Managers, installation and commissioning field engineers and any other technician deployed at our project sites, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
Develop and implement strategic field service plans, training programs, schedules, and budgets to meet or exceed project requirements and client expectations.
Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and clients to ensure seamless execution of field service activities and timely resolution of issues.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards in all field service operations.
Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess work progress, identify potential risks or obstacles, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Manage inventory, tools, and equipment to support field service operations and optimize resource utilization.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track field service performance, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement.
Interface with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and maintain positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate project status, achievements, and lessons learned to internal teams and stakeholders.
Monitor and resolve warranty claims from previous projects under the warranty period.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, electrical technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in field services management, preferably in the power transmission and distribution industry.
Strong technical and construction background in electrical systems, equipment, and operations.
