Job description:

We are looking for a Business Analyst/ Project Manager with at least 5 years of IT experience.

Top Desired Skills:

1. Leading multiple small to mid-sized projects across cross-functional teams in an enterprise level environment.

2. Hands-on experience driving software development/modernization projects with technical teams as well as working with the business.

3. Experience leading UAT sessions.

4. Strong Agile fundamentals and ability to incorporate agile principles with development teams.

Job Functions / Responsibilities:

" Gather, interpret, and analyze business requirements from multiple stakeholders, teams, and departments.

" Lead projects of moderate to high complexity with teams of 10 or more participants, budgets in the $1M range, and project durations of 7,500 hours or more.

" Drive and deliver project results, and challenge the business on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.

" Develop project plans and initiation charters.

" Build and execute project plans, ensuring conformance to established PACCAR standards and procedures.

" Clearly document and communicate the business and system requirements for the development teams.

" Risk analysis and mitigation.

" Communicate project status and issues to senior management and project sponsors.

" Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.

" Work with the quality assurance and development teams to triage defects and ensure changes are migrated into production correctly.

" Acquire and coordinate resources and services from both external vendors and internal teams.

" Conduct project management improvement activities.


Qualifications and Skills Desired:

" Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or applicable discipline preferred

" 2 5 years of demonstrated skills in managing complex projects requiring either package or custom solutions.

" Effective consensus building skills.

" 2 or more years of experience with Agile methodologies, like SCRUM.

" Strong teambuilding skills.

" Strong application of process improvement methodologies.

" Effective presentation skills suitable for senior management.

" Self-motivated and able to work effectively with little to no supervision.

" Excellent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

" Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

" Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.

Someone to manage the scope, escalations, timelines, reporting to management, burndown charts.
