We currently have an opening for an experienced full time Project Manager for Renton Housing Authority Portfolio.


We offer:

  • $35 per hour
  • Full time employees earn 144 Hours or 18 days of PTO per year with the ability to carry over up to 80 hours a year. Increased PTO after 6 and 9 consecutive years with Allied Residential.

General Duties:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Allied Residential maintenance systems and programs and provide support when necessary.
  • Maintain a professional image and attitude in keeping with the objectives of the Company, Property Owner and resident’s welfare.
  • Report to the Portfolio Manager each week to communicate needs of the portfolio properties.
  • Establish, implement, and train a preventative maintenance plan and organization plan/inventory system for assigned properties in the portfolio.
  • Using Scopes of Work, establish and maintain an annual routine of re-bidding suppliers and vendors for each site (landscape maintenance, painters, cleaners, pool systems, etc.)
  • Prepare detailed bid specs as requested.
  • Perform appliance repairs, tub surround installations, countertop replacements, drywall repairs, troubleshoot mold problems, troubleshoot leak issues, plumbing repairs and any repairs that may normally be contracted out within reason.
  • Assist with after-hours and on-call emergencies.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Specific Knowledge or Skills

  • Highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently and in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in all maintenance-related repairs, renovations, construction, tools and tasks.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in writing coherent scopes of work and comparing bids and specifications.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ethical work methods when utilizing vendors and suppliers in accordance with Allied’s Employee Handbook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Exceptional listening skills, ability to problem solve, and patience with team members of all skill levels.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required.


Education/Work Experience

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma/GED; 2-4-year college degree preferred.
  • High level experience and understanding with construction, renovations, maintenance, repairs, and installation of all interior and exterior building components.
  • Minimum of 3 years in the property management industry.
  • Knowledge of a property management software (Yardi) is desired.
