    This position is anticipated to last 5-6 years based upon capital project needs and funding.
    Primary Purpose:
    The primary duty of the Facilities Project Manager I is to provide professional and administrative services associated with the planning, coordinating, design, and construction of capital projects under the direction of the Executive Director of Capital Planning & Construction; including assessment of existing facilities and post-construction evaluation. The value of projects for which the incumbent is responsible is between one and ten million dollars annually. The incumbent is responsible for providing customer support, management, and oversight, as district liaison for capital projects. The incumbent is responsible for monitoring and adhering to project budgets and schedules to assure completion of projects on time and on budget, ensuring district standards are maintained, and directing and overseeing the work of architects, other consultants, and contractors.
