This role will
directly manage process improvement to ensure maximum efficiencies,
effectiveness, and consistency in TPR field sales execution. The Regional Store
Operations Manager will support key initiatives such as T-Mobile processes and
operational support, reporting and analysis, training, visual merchandising,
communicating T-Mobile customer impacting initiatives and verifying execution
and supporting other T-Mobile strategic initiatives. This position will report
to the Senior National Operations Manager.
The Operations Manager will spend time in TPR partner locations as the retail
experts within the sales organization. This position will provide
immediate and useful feedback regarding any items that could potentially impact
the customer experience, by communicating in a way that make all stakeholders
eager to collaborate while identifying and investigating problems concerned
with policy, operations and processes. They will inspect what is expected out
of all locations, with a focus on company operated stores in regions that have
them. They will represent the company within their region and integrate with
the sales channel to ensure strong awareness of operational opportunities. The
position will also plan an integral role in strengthening communication and
cross-coordination within the organization.
**Responsibilities**
Work with management team todevelop and evaluate standards for operations
Organize meetings with storemanagers and staff to discuss day to day operations
Create and revise Retail Storesystems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, recordkeepingsystems, store layout, and budgetary and personnel requirements
Conduct regular audits of theRetail locations
Prepare for and participate inmeetings
Tracking DTS (cash handling)issues
Financial Audit assessment andwork through with manager during each visit
Assisting in ordering ofmerchandising & compliance of location
Ensuring when there areissues, the manager knows how to fix on their own but they will assistthem in correcting the issues if theyre busy on the sales floor
Inventory assistance:receiving & sending while manager is busy at the location
Follow up on items to becompleted from previous visit
Follow up on any and allissues not handled by other departments, i.e.: follow up on credentials,accesses into T-Mo/ ATI systems, etc.
Report on maintenance issues
Promote effective communicationbetween all retail locations
Ensure all retail storesmaintain proper appearance and traffic flow
Pinpoint safety gaps, addressthem with a sense of urgency, and escalate serious issues when appropriate
Manage and perform specialprojects as assigned
Provide administrative supportas required
Resolve Retail store issues bypreparing reports, analyzing data and identifying solutions
**Qualifications**
Retail Management Experience aplus
Bilingual Mandarin is a plus
Track record of high personalperformance
Demonstrated aptitude inmulti-store management
Advanced personnel training,coaching and development skills
Talent for motivating asuccessful Retail team
Operational and financialperformance management know-how, especially store P&L analysis
Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills required
Knowledge of Microsoft Officeprograms (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Possess a high level of energy,integrity & execution skills
Traveling regionallyapproximately 70%
Must have own transportation
