Duties of a Facility Operations Manager

ATI is seeking a highly motivated, qualified, and experienced Facility Operations Manager for a position located at in Springfield, Virginia. TOP SECRET position required to plan, organize, maintain, and manage the operations of an office, warehouse, and distribution facility. This may include:

• Developing, maintaining, and ensuring compliance on facility maintenance plans;
• Performing facility inspections to provide comprehensive facility condition assessments;
• Overseeing completion of complex infrastructure or asset repair/installation projects with in-house staff or subcontractors;
• Planning work activities, developing budgets, and expending funds within established limits to meet maintenance goals;
• Supervising the work of skilled trades, general maintenance, and custodial workers;
• Overseeing the entry of maintenance data into a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS);
• Serving as the on-site point of contact for formal and informal discussions with the client with the intent of sustaining customer satisfaction;
• Reviewing resources, procedures, and methods to improve operational effectiveness, utility, and efficiency;
• Ensuring proper staffing and continuity of operations;
• Providing accurate and timely reporting to the client and corporate management;
• Identifying vendors and reviewing/approving their proposals; and
• Ensuring the quality and safety of all provided services.

Required Qualifications for Facility Operations Manager

• TOP SECRET Clearance is required;
• Minimum of 10 years of recent facility operations and maintenance experience as a Chief Engineer or a Facility Manager at a facility of similar size (550,000 SF) and scope;
• Demonstrated experience with asset and equipment management, workflow management, and CMMS platforms;
• Proficiency using MS Office (including MS Word and Excel) and excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• High level of professionalism for client interaction; and
• Current Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP), or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly desirable but not required.
