Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide support to the office staff and ensure the smooth operation of daily activities.
Duties:
- Coordinate and manage projects, ensuring deadlines are met
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organizing meetings
- Greet visitors and provide them with necessary information
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors
- Assist with proofreading and editing documents
- Type and prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of dental office procedures is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Professional phone etiquette
- Spanish and English
