Aston Carter is Hiring a Business Development Manager 3 Near Redmond, WA

Description:

Responsible for monthly financial forecasting and completing variance reports with analysis.

Work closely with budget owners to maintain and update forecasts with evolving business needs.

Predict potential budget overruns and offer solutions.

Track team expenditures, monitor transaction controls and costs against budgets.

Manage monthly vendor invoice charges and accruals for different business groups.

Manage engagements, contracts, compliance, and partnerships with key suppliers.

Manage sourcing and procurement of materials, equipment, software, and supplies while maintaining compliance with Microsoft policies.

Manage capital equipment purchases, logistics, depreciation, and inventory.

Process outbound shipping requests and distribute incoming products in a lab setting.

Manage field updates, access requests, bug investigation and reporting for internal ERP system.

Establish and document business processes and identify improvement opportunities.

Establish and maintain business communications for the team and across business units.

Skills:

Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize competing tasks. Demonstrated initiative to identify, solve, and follow-through with issues.

Demonstrated agility in fluctuating work environment and willingness to change directions at a moment’s notice with a positive “can-do” attitude.

The ability to demonstrate sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, integrity, and professionalism at all times.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Candidate Requirements

  • Years of Experience Required: 5 years of operations/finance/procurement experience required. Previous experience in a lab or manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Degrees or certifications required: Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, accounting, or relevant field is preferred.
  • Disqualifiers: Resumes with short tenure or unexplained gaps in work, have poor attendance will not be eligible for the role. Preferred candidate should have 18 month availability.
  • Best vs. Average: The ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail, project management skills, demonstrated initiative, strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization. This person must uphold the highest level of integrity and business professionalism to manage highly sensitive information with absolute confidentiality.
  • Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on quality of work and feedback from the team.
