Job Description:

• The Silver Sneakers Member Experience Representative (MER) answers inbound calls from members and providers, inputs data, and provides a high level of customer service always extending courtesy and professionalism.

• The MER handles inbound customer service inquiries and problems via the telephone and email while effectively recording communications accurately and consistently.

• Calls are predominantly routine but may require deviation from standard screens, scripts and procedures.

• MERs use a computerized system for tracking calls, information gathering, and/or troubleshooting and may assess needs, provide instructions, explain programs, and suggest/promote alternative products or services.

• A majority of the inbound calls are from members that are eligible for a Silver Sneakers program through specific Medicare plans.

• Being able to provide program information to our Medicare population using patience and motivation, while providing high-quality customer service is a requirement.

• Program engagement and education are vital elements to a successful interaction with our members and is highly measured.

Hours of Operation: Mon-Fri 8 am - 8 pm EST

*8 hours shift provided within business hours.

Training: 2 weeks Mon-Fri 10 am - 5:30 pm EST

Location: FULLY REMOTE

Responsibilities:

  • Receive inbound calls from Medicare members regarding Silver Sneakers Wellness Program
  • Ability to multi-task and navigate between 5 different systems at a time
  • Practice exceptional communication by communicating effectively via phone, email, and chats
  • Effectively communicate critical, key details to help aid in providing appropriate, correct services
  • Manage challenging customer service situations while maintaining a positive, empathetic, and consultative approach towards the customer during their time of need
  • Meet and strive to exceed metrics

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Coachability and empathetic
  • Basic computer skills and data entry
