Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for performing phlebotomy procedures and collecting blood specimens for testing, adhering to safety measures to prevent patient injuries.
  2. Tasked with ensuring optimal serum and plasma specimen integrity by adhering to our strict processing protocols.
  3. Responsible for maintaining an inventory of phlebotomy supplies and ensuring the clean and sanitized state of the phlebotomy area.
  4. Assisting in training new staff and constant updating of your knowledge on new methods and techniques.
  5. Providing excellent care to patients by answering their questions and soothing their concerns, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
  6. Performing data entry and labeling of specimens, as well as maintaining confidential patient records.
  7. Collaborating with a wider team of healthcare professionals, contributing to the diagnostic process and patient management.

Requirements:

  1. Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
  2. At least 18 years old and above.
  3. Can provide proof of COVID vaccination.
