AssuredPartners is Hiring a Regional Payroll Specialist Near Orlando, FL

Overview

The Payroll Regional is responsible for the preparation, reporting, and balancing of the regional payroll data. Supports the regional payroll process and acts as the first responder in any payroll related inquires and discrepancies. 

The Ideal Candidate

  • As the Payroll Regional, accuracy is of utmost importance to you
  • You possess strong technical skills and can handle payroll situations, as well as communicate them
  • You are a team player and have a customer service mindset, working well across the region and alongside your team

This candidate will sit out of our corporate office in Orlando, however will be supporting our West Region so should be open to working 8-5pm PST. 

What You'll Do

  • Ensures time and attendance records are accurate and processed timely in accordance with the payroll schedule.
  • Coordinate and prepares payroll data for semi-monthly and monthly payrolls.
  • Audits payroll data for accuracy, completeness and compliance while adhering to Federal, State, and Local compliance laws.
  • Assist in the resolution of payroll related inquires or discrepancies
  • Calculate and or request Instant Checks, Stop Payments, and ACH returns
  • Reconcile Payroll/Benefit totals and funding requests with regional payroll reports and address any variances to Corporate Payroll.
  • Communicate to employees payroll related information as needed including required notices from Federal, State, and local agencies.
  • Support the Leave of Absence documentation process for the region.
  • Support HR initiatives and projects as needed

What You'll Need

  • Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Payroll software;
  • Database software; Internet software; and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong mathematical and Excel skills
  • Multitasking/organizational/time-management skills
